December at Galway Bay Seafoods
In December we launched our new hampers for Christmas full of seafood delights. Customers had the opportunity to customise the hamper to their requirements and included was a recipe booklet with plenty of ideas for creating delicious seafood dishes. The products were presented in fabulous wicker baskets and were well received by the public.
December also saw a busy month with exporting. A lot of happy households and business across Europe received our succulent smoked salmon just in time to enjoy over the Christmas. Our overseas customers have grown as we welcomed a number of new orders this year from across Europe looking for some delicious Irish Smoked Salmon. Destinations included France, Germany, Italy and many others.
The week leading up to Christmas saw hundreds of customers pass through the doors of our retail store in search of delicious seafood. With Galway Bay Seafoods being home to the widest range of seafood in Galway the search didn’t go on for long! Our branded fresh crab meat, crab claws and smoked range were a huge success with the public. Along side our branded range we had recipe booklets accompany the products providing a number of ways to use the products. All recipes came from our chef Vincent Corrigan.
2012 looks like it will be a very busy year with Cookery Classes as our newly designed class vouchers were a very popular choice for customers looking for that Christmas present that is a little bit different and unique which is exactly what you get taking a cookery class in Irelands only dedicated seafood cookery school.
