Smoked Salmon and Pasta

200g pack of smoked salmon - cut in ribbons
200g fresh linguine or pasta
1 small onion, finely chopped
250g of mushrooms, sliced
170 ml cream
Fresh basil - (optional)
Salt and black pepper

Heat oil and sauté onion
Add mushrooms, cook for 3 minutes
Add cream, simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to reduce.
Season with salt and pepper
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to kind- drain well
Add smoked salmon and torn basil leaves to sauce.
Combine pasta and sauce
Serve with Salad and Garlic Bread
