Galway Bay Seafoods wins business achievers award
Galway Bay Seafoods were honoured to be awarded the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards regional title in the Agriculture, Food and Drink sector. This means that Galway Bay Seafoods will be representing Connacht in the National Final in the Mansion House on April 19th. The achievement was announced at a prize giving ceremony in the Clayton Hotel Galway on February 1st.
Eight leading Connacht based businesses were announced as winners at the Connacht final of the 2011 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards. Companies were rigorously judged on a variety of merits including financial performance, company milestones and achievements, future strategy for the business and development of innovative products and services. The Connacht judging panel was made up of Sean Keenan, CEO and Founder of Multis Group, Brendan McDermott, Regional Director, Ulster Bank, Seamus Bree, Enterprise Ireland, and Grainne Lennon, InterTradeIreland. With over 70 businesses entering the competition the awards were hotly contested.
