To mark the launch of the festive season at Galway Bay Seafoods a Christmas Fair was held on December 3rd. Events on the day included; Cooking demonstration, wine tastings by Thomas Woodbury’s Wines, free samples in store, face painting for our younger guests, and as always our in house chef Vincent Corrigan was on hand to assist customers with any questions they had regarding planning their perfect seafood Christmas dish.
The day kicked off with two free cooking demonstrations where forty lucky customers pre-registered in time for the classes which showed guests how to create the perfect seafood starter, the alternative Christmas dinner and finally Canapés to impress your visitors over the festive season. The classes were a great success and received great reviews from guests in attendance.
Throughout the day wine specialists, Woodbury Wines, shared their knowledge and experience about matching wines with various seafood dishes.
To keep our younger guests entertained our fabulous face painter Giselle done a wonderful job painting many designs from festive reindeers to recreating Tyson’s tattoo!
All day in store our in house chef Vincent Corrigan created delightful Seafood Canapés using our range of Ready to Eat seafood. Along with this he shared his knowledge of cooking seafood and the best way to prepare your festive seafood with our customers.
